Transform Dallas

The fourth annual Transform Dallas event will take place on April 6th. Hundreds of volunteers will gather to paint homes, update school libraries, work in community gardens, and more! Transform Dallas is a collaborative effort spearheaded by Dallas Leadership Foundation, a faith based nonprofit organization, with the support and partnership of Fellowship Dallas, Friendship West, Highland Park Presbyterian Church, and Prestoncrest Church of Christ. Together, the hope is to inspire collaboration and unity that expands across Dallas’ geographical boundaries while uplifting those in need.

Join Ally’s Wish for a boot scootin’ great cause! The gala evening will include a cocktail hour, a seated dinner buffet, and live Country-Western entertainment from The Breckenridge Band. Funds raised from this event will benefit Ally’s Wish. The Flower Mound-based organization grants wishes to young mothers battling terminal illnesses so they may create lasting memories with their children and loved ones. Individual tickets are $150 and tables of 10 are available for $1,500.

This special evening provides urgently needed funds to support Orphan Outreach’s ministry serving thousands of orphaned and vulnerable children with education, food, medical care and emotional healing. The event will feature keynote Jason Witten, child advocate, former Dallas Cowboys tight end and current color analyst for EPSN Monday Night Football. Allie Beth and Pierce Allman will be honored with the 2019 Children’s Hope Award for their extraordinary impact and commitment to philanthropy. Allie Beth has earned legendary status within the real estate industry, while maintaining consistent community civic leadership with her husband and business partner Pierce. NFL RedZone host Scott Hanson will serve as master of ceremonies.

Connecting Point of Park Cities (CPPC), an impactful day program for adults with disabilities, offers valuable experiences including educational, social, recreational and vocational, as well as community volunteerism.

The Connecting Point team is delighted to announce that Justin Gallegos, the first professional athlete with cerebral palsy to be signed with Nike, will be the honored guest at the sixth annual Ability to Give Luncheon on April 12, 2019. Justin and his father, Brent, will be interviewed by Dale Hansen, the weeknight sports anchor during the 10 p.m. newscast on WFAA, Channel 8

This year’s luncheon will be held at Brook Hollow Golf Club on April 12, 2019. All proceeds directly benefit the Connecting Point of Park Cities program.

Field & Vine - A Chefs' Dinner Benefiting Youth With Faces

Dallas’ favorite chefs are coming together Sunday, May 5 to prepare a multi-course, farm-to-table dinner benefiting Youth With Faces, a Dallas nonprofit providing second chances to the young men and women in the juvenile justice system. The second annual Field & Vine Chefs’ Dinner will take place at The Statler hotel in the heart of Downtown Dallas. 

Matt Balke, Executive Chef at Bolsa and long-time Youth With Faces supporter, serves as lead chef of the event with a notable team of chefs who will each prepare one course of the dinner. Community volunteer Rebecca Masinter will serve as the 2019 Event Chair. Featured chefs include:

• Jeff Harris, Americano 
• Nathan Tate, Boulevardier & Rapscallion

The dinner benefits Youth With Faces, a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving youth in the juvenile justice system the skills needed to break the cycle of incarceration and create positive futures. Walk4Friendship is designed to build community solidarity, as well raise funds for and increase awareness of Friendship Circle, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides inclusive social and educational programs for children
and adults with diverse abilities.

Together, we are walking (and enjoying a carnival that follows!) to raise funds for innovative programs to include the thousands in our community who are deprived of typical social contact— those with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and other emotional, physical and cognitive challenges.

Learn about the concept of a Rescue Party. A Rescue Party is set-up to inform participants on the realities of human trafficking and slavery that still exists today. Be prepared to open your eyes, your heart, and you guessed it, your wallets. You will be introduced to the work of International Justice Mission and how you may become a Freedom Partner for as little as $1.30/day.


Also, there will be an opportunity to purchase stunning, handcrafted products sold through Jennifer Keltner, a Sseko fellow. She uses her passion and skills to elevate your wardrobe and build a brighter future for herself and her sisters in Uganda.


Enjoy a night of fun, food, great music, and incredible connections. Guests will be entered to win a drawing every 15 minutes beginning at 7 PM. If you become a Freedom Partner, you will be entered into a grand prize drawing to be announced. The silent auction drawing includes masterful pieces of art created that evening by two different upcoming artists. The original pieces will be the artists' interpretation of fighting for freedom.
