Columbus Day Weekend at the Dallas Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden invites the community to celebrate Columbus Day weekend with many activities including live music and performances featuring Six of the Matter and The Dallas Tap Dazzlers, and a children's concert with family-favorite Eddie Coker, sponsored by DFWChild and Musgrove Law, on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn. Enjoy complimentary wine tastings with Crazy Beautiful Wines all weekend long at A Tasteful Place. Face painting by A Fresh Perspective and Country Critters Petting Zoo are in Pecan Grove the entire weekend from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Explore the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village at Autumn at the Arboretum, sponsored by Rogers-O'Brien Construction, themed "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," featuring a Great Pumpkin topiary and character topiaries such as Linus, Lucy, Charlie and more. Autumn at the Arboretum features pumpkin houses and creative displays incorporating more than 90,000 pumpkins, gourds, squash, cornstalks and a hay bale maze.

Guests can enjoy the annual Eddie Coker concert, sponsored by DFWChild and Musgrove Law, on Columbus Day and enjoy a picnic on the lawn.

"We invite you to bring a picnic and make a full day for you and your families to enjoy the garden during Columbus Day Weekend," said Mary Brinegar, president and CEO of the Dallas Arboretum.
